While both laser and electrolysis are extremely efficient methods for getting rid of unwanted hair, electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method which achieves 100% permanent hair removal. Since each and every follicle has to be individually treated, it takes quite a long time and commitment.

Laser hair removal is the most popular way for getting rid of unwanted hair. The laser pulse covers a much larger area than a probe, which usually results in lower time commitment and seeing results much faster than with electrolysis. Laser destroys up to 50 hair follicles per zap using heat.
